Let’s start with the dad, Richard (Rick, to the Alumni). This was 25 years ago and he had a level of crazy that had everyone around him worried. He beat people up, he fought authority, he did everything that should not be done by a young man of his stature and because of that, his English family decided to send him to America to calm him down. Which did nothing much, because all the crazies in the school he was sent to followed after his lead in the shenanigans. One of which had him involved in the infamous 25-year-ago incident of the school.
Lindsay, his wife, was his childhood sweetie. This girl was the girl who actually bailed him out of his messes when everything went south of his own plans. She extricated him from sticky situations, she had the capability to yell at him, talk back, and not take his crap. Seriously, she could actually get him to fall in line even when he was raging. And then she actually went and married him.
Then there’s heir-to-the-family Justin. While most people would be enjoying junior high, Justin was the most famed “mercenary” in London gangland during his time there. He was so feared that even the gangs who tried to get him to sign up with them didn’t actually trust him. He needed the strength of his family lineage to get him out of juvenile detention and the rage of the same gangland he was involved in, and was sent off to Dalton as well.
Finally, there’s Laura I-don’t-care-if-it’s-an-all-boys-school I-track-down-psycho-stalkers-in-my-spare-time Bancroft, the youngest, who really doesn’t understand the meaning of “no” and “cannot”. She has the tendency to judge you if you attempt to operate beneath the intellect she expects from you. She is actually able to lift things off her more experienced and more dangerous brother and she takes matters into her own hands if no one wants to listen to her.
So. The Bancrofts. Clearly, there is something in their genetics that’s more than noble blood. XD
