I call Tina Fey my lady hero because I adore her entirely. :)
More specifically, she’s intelligent, witty, beautiful and probably every other positive adjective I could think of. I don’t really have any comedic aspirations, but I think if I could be half as talented as her I would be happy. And aside from her wonderful writing, I think she’s just a wonderful person.
I love that she’s clearly very smart but still absurd, silly and proud of being crass (30 Rock, SNL, etc). I love that she can be such a great voice for women and still see the humor in the problems she’s addressing (Mean Girls, Confessions of A Juggler). I love that she’s gorgeous and self conscious like every other woman, but totally willing to put herself with man arms on the cover of her book (the Bossypants cover).
To me, that willingness to contradict and to just be whatever the fuck she wants to be is wonderful and admirable. People I know don’t want an unattractive picture on facebook for their 200 friends to see, and she willingly gave that picture to everyone ever. I wish I could be that confident and I wish the wonderful women in my life could be that confident.

“Yeah, now that you mention it. Except, of course, there’s no snow, we got warm grub in our bellies, and the trees aren’t fucking exploding from Kraut artillery, but yeah… Frank… other than that, it’s a lot like Bastogne.”
